One glance tells you what it’s doing.
The orb is Fosfor’s face. You never read a status line in the middle of a sentence.
Fosfor listens to the other side of your Zoom or Google Meet call and puts a ready answer in a floating panel on your screen. The first word arrives in about a second.

02How it works
It hears only what your Mac plays: the other side of Zoom or Google Meet. Your microphone is never used, and nothing joins the meeting.
Fosfor separates real questions from small talk, so the panel stays calm until something actually needs an answer.
The first word shows up in about a second. Short, structured, written the way you would actually say it out loud.
Keep your eyes near the camera, take the parts you like, and move on. The panel stays out of your way until the next question.
03The film
The panel, first launch and settings. Shown here in Russian; the app speaks Ukrainian, Russian and English.
04Features
The orb is Fosfor’s face. You never read a status line in the middle of a sentence.
The draft is on screen before the pause gets awkward. Streaming text, not a spinner.
Nothing joins the participant list. No extra tile, no invite link, nothing for the host to approve.
Pick the language of the call once, and answers come back in it.
Lives in the menu bar. Show or hide the panel in one keystroke, drag it anywhere, resize it however you like.
Call audio and transcripts are never written to your Mac. Close the panel and the conversation is gone.
05Who it’s for
Tell Fosfor who you are in one line during setup. It shapes every answer around you and never makes up facts about you.
Oral exams, thesis defences, internship interviews.
“Explain the difference between a process and a thread.”
Screening calls, HR rounds, technical interviews.
“Why do you want to join our team?”
Calls in a field where the vocabulary is still new.
“How would you measure the success of this feature?”
Client calls and meetings in a second language.
“Can you walk us through the timeline once more?”
06Privacy
Fosfor is a helper on your side of the screen, not a participant. It hears only what your Mac plays, sends it for speech recognition and the answer, and keeps nothing afterwards.
07FAQ
No. Fosfor runs as a local macOS app and listens to the audio your Mac is already playing. There is no participant, no invite and no meeting link shared with anyone.
Fosfor listens to your Mac’s system sound, so it works with Zoom, Google Meet in the browser and other call apps that play the other person through your Mac.
Ukrainian, Russian and English. Ukrainian is the default; choose the language of the call during setup or in settings.
A Mac with macOS 13 or newer and an internet connection. On first launch macOS asks for permission to capture system audio; that is the only access Fosfor needs.
Fosfor asks macOS to keep the panel out of screen sharing, but some apps capture the whole screen anyway. Before an important call, share a single window instead of the full screen, or keep the panel on a second display.
